Mohammed M. Ali, MBBS, MD, ABFM, is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He is the Medical Director of Health and Wellness Center, Inc., and practices Family and Integrative Medicine (a combination of traditional and holistic medicine). He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from India and moved to the United States in 1998 and started doing research in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Ali completed his Residency in Family Medicine at the world-famous Cook County Hospital in Chicago and received the “Best Resident Teacher of the Year” Award in 2003.

Dr. Ali’s interest in Integrative Medicine stems from many personal and professional sources. He has a strong family background in Ayurvedic Medicine and has seen many ailments being cured with natural remedies. While working as a physician in outpatient and inpatient settings over the years, Dr. Ali witnessed the detrimental side effects of modern medication on his patients. In the nursing homes, he saw elderly patients with poor metabolic function being treated with 15-20 medications and suffering from side effects.​

With a robust background in traditional medicine, Dr. Ali identified the need for an integrated approach in the healthcare sector. This understanding led to establishing the Health and Wellness Center in San Clemente, then extended to Lake Forest, CA, providing a holistic health and wellness haven for the communities.
